Hi, I am a teacher in a Public Primary School in south west Sydney, Australia. I love my school, my role, teaching in the Public School system and the new learning I am gleaning through professional development and social media.

My teaching experience includes four years in a private girls school when I first became qualified to teach and fourteen years in the public system. I have been a support teacher as well as a classroom teacher since returning to teaching in 2001. Much of my experience has been with teaching students from non-English speaking backgrounds.

My colleagues usually become my friends. I am looking forward to getting to know more like-minded educators through Twitter and sharing learning, laughs and philosophies with you.
